'Taint' was a DJ name for a career that lasted a few gigs when, on the last one as I was performing a great set in my headphones, it turned out that it was not on the PA. Awkward.

'Spongeworthy' was Richard Douglas, a singer-songwriter, who sang and played guitar, and myself. I used two Electribes and an American Audio CD Scratcher with the most wicked synced delay I have ever heard. Richard did some nasty feedback.

From that day onwards I am indebted to the guys who taught me on the job how to be a musician. (And so is that guy from TV on the Radio that attended our gigs.)

During and after 'Spongeworthy', 'jenghizkhan' played in a punk band with Marc Peckham, Drew Kidd, Cave Precise (Ron Ramey) and Pat Mason called '!M.O.O.B - He Goatan'. Before that there was a talented expanded cast of members in the original band called 'Boom'. We changed the name after 9/11 and added the title of our release to the band name making it easier to identify, a story better told here:

'jenghizkhan' performed solo at art galleries (see link at top); however, when it involved the skills learned in bands and using beatboxes, 'earcon' (earcon.bandcamp.com) was the name. A compilation of greatest hits is here:
